About Jackson

Jackson Potter is a composer, teacher, and award winning guitarist based out of Miami. He has shared the stage with Grammy Award winners, Gonzalo Rubalcaba and Dafnis Prieto as well as performed at venues such as the New World Symphony Center, Maurice Gusman Concert Hall, Ball and Chain, Lagniappe House and many others. His guitar playing has been featured on several albums such as, "Lovers" by Rachel Ohnsman, ”After the Storm" by Julia Calvin, and “Beats Before” by Connor Golden. Jackson teaches guitar to students of all levels both privately and through Barrett School of Music as well as the Guitars over Guns Summer Intensive Guitar Camp. He is currently finishing up his senior year at the University of Miami, Frost School of Music where he studies jazz guitar performance with the widely renowned guitarist and educator, John Hart.
